The two accused weiy. called upon to answer the following charges: That oi' March Hist, they stole a motor car valued at L'UIO, the property of dames Dixon, that, with intent lo commit a crime, they did, by violent means -by squirting liquid ammonia on him—attempt to render Alfred Thompson incapable of resistance; that with intent to commit a crime, they did, by violent means—by squirting liquid ammonia on him—attempt L> render Henry Wimpenny incapable ol resistance; that, at Palmerston, Uiev broke and entered by night, the dispensary of the United Friendly Societies, and I,stole 17s nd ; that, at Palmerston, they broke and entered by night the shop of the Star Stores, mid stole Gd ; that, at Palmerston they broke and entered by night the premises of dames Aloodie and stole goods lo the value of £2O 10s 9d, and 66 7s 6d in money. The two accused pleaded guilty to all of the charges, and were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
