NORTHERN DAIRYING
The pay-out of the Maungaturoto Dairy Company tor March at 10(1 a lb for superfine was £3126, against £5332 for March, 1930, when the price was 1/-. The total pay-out for the present season has been £38,100, compared with £60,453 for the corresponding period last season. The output last month was 41 tons, a decrease of 11 tons on that of the same month last year. The season’s output to date has been 50/ tons against 514 ton s for the corresponding period last season. Good rain has made pastures look excellent for the autumn. The New Zealand Co-operative dairy factory at AA’aimauku produced 45 toils last month, against 51 tons for March, 1930. The output from June 1, 1930, to March 31. 1931. lias been 466 tons, against 443 tons for the same period of last season.
