He accepted the Billiards Control Councils invitation to go to Australia with Steeples who was chosen by the Council to represent England in the Empire Championships at Svdney. LONDON, April 19.
The hillinrdist Lee, who is nearly 21 is one of the greatest players seen in a championship and is probably the best, amateur ever seen at the age. Lee and Steeples are eertainnlv the best English amateurs and should have an excellent chance of recovering the Empire trophy.
