TUNNELLERS’ WAGES
STRIKE THREATENED. MANY MEN AFFECTED ON WEST COAST. WESTPORT. April 17. As the result of trouble over the rates of pay for men engaged on tunnelling work, the workers on the Westport-Inangahua railway line held a stop-work meeting this aft rnoon.
