STEALS OVER £SOO, (By Telegraph—tor Vtess AwofltafM) MAUTOX, April 17. George Arnold Thomas, the teller of the Bank of Australasia at Marton, to-day pleaded guilty to defalcations totalling £575 8s 7d, the Bank’s money Thomas was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence. He is a married man with two children.
