The Bonds of the Australian Commonwealth re-acted promptly on Friday to a London cable reporting the Commonwealth Bank threatened the withdrawal of credit ‘to Commonwealth and State Governments. This news carried both issues of fives and fours and hall's of Commonwealth down from fifteen to twenty dollars on every thousand dollar bond. State bonds were less active, but. also receded.
