GRAZIERS CONFERENCE
RATES OF INTEREST. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, April 16. Addressing the Graziers Conference, Mr A. G. Davidson, Chairman of the Bank of New South Wales, declared that the banks were ready po reduce the rates of interest the moment tlie Governments showed signs of putting their houses in order. Recent suggestions of repudiation and variations of the existing contracts, however, were frightening money away, and nothing hut a return of confidence was needed to firing it back.
