AN EXPEDITION
TO CENTRAL TURKESTAN. (Received 9.b a.m.) [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] LONDON. April 12. Elliot Smith announces an expedition is setting out from Peking to the Valley of Tarim. Eastern Turkestan, to seek trails of the most primitive forms of Jiutunii life. Pei'e Teilhard de Chardin, doctor C. Yonii, a Chinese pawaenneologist, who were lioiii members of the expedition, which discovered the Peking man in 1929, accompany Elliot Smith. Professor Davidson Black believes important discoveries bearing on the beginnings of human life may be found near the sources of Tari where no systematic exploration has yet been done.
