PORTUGAL’S TROUBLE
REBELS IN THE CAPITAL. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright-) LONDON, April 9. Messages from reliable sources indicate that the Portuguese Government is at present more concerned over affairs in Lisbon than, that in Madeira. There is a fresh revolutionary movement afoot. The Cabinet, presided over by Premier Carmona, has been frequently in session in the barracks of the machine guns regiments. Tt is stated that many arrests have been made in Lisbon. and that a number of soldiers are imprisoned, and armoured cars are patrolling the streets.
