OFF TO AMERICA
IN BOX OR SHIP. [ United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. 1 (Received this day at 10 a.m.) PARIS, April 10. “T will go to America even if 1 have to go jn a box" was what Louis C-hian-ese, a twenty-year-old Parisain. often told his parents. A few days ago they received a bill for for transporting a packing case aboard the liner Lafayette Meanwhile Louis disappeared. Hia parents wirelessed the liner in mid-At-lantic resulting in Louis being discovered in the packing case which he had occupied for five days among the cargo. It appears the case, measuring eigh-ty-six inches long by thirty-eight inches high and labelled "stow away from boilers", arrived at a carrier’s office on a hand cart accompanied with an intimation that it contained hats for a Now York firm. It is expected that the authorities will not permit. Louis to land in* America. Upon his return to France he will be prosecuted on various charges.
