ON UNEMPLOYED LEADER. (By Telegraph — Per Press Association) WELLINGTON. April 10. Phillip Gordon Brazier and John Snndford, who were described hv the police as “'■‘agitators,” appeared before Mr E. Page, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court to-day, to answer charges arising from the unemployed demonstration made through the citv Inst Saturday, when traffic was held up and the trolly poles of tram cars wore removed from the overhead wires. Brazier, was charged with marching in the in Willis. Manners and Cuba Streets, in consequence of which pG'ors wore i"duc"d to march «o as to impede traffic. He was also charged with nusiii" the procession. Brazier was fined £9O on th- !"•<.-+ count. On the second charge he was co"victed "nd ord r n d to come up for sentence when railed uoo«. Similar charges we r e laid again"*cw., t,„t file bold that there was not sufficient evidence in his case to warrant n *onvution. and he accordingly dis’ni««ed ease. The charges were laid under the City by-laws.
