OPENING IN NEW YORK. Press Association.—By Electne Telegraph.—Copyright.! NEW YORK, April 8. The first Wool Exchange in America . will be established on May 18th., when trading ip contracts for wool tops will begin in the New York Cotton Exchange. The unit of trading will he £SOOO, and the prices will he in multiples of tern, one hundred and one thousand pounds. The deliveries will be made at Boston at the basis price, and at other points subject to freight differentials. The announcement made said that the purpose' of the exchange Is to provide hedging facility for tile wool growers ahd Wool mbrciiahts, dealers, spinners, and weavers of this cbhtittW, as well (in tit)ldad.
