FARM BOARD
ITS ACTIONS CRITICISED. (United Presa Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright ) (Deceived 10.20 a.in.) CHICAGO, April 8. President Janies C. Murray of Chicago Board of Trade declared to'day that the stabilisation programme of the Farm Board has failed completely in its attempt to maintain marks on. any satisfactory level. Addressing the Chicago Association of Commerce, he said the Farm Board’s operations resulted in accumulations which were a menace to the coming crops. The passage of the Agrieultural Marketing Act intended to benefit the farmer, had admittedly failed in. its purpose. Ably managed by honest men, the operation of the act again demonstrated the futility of interference with normal action and reaction, of supply and demand.
