OBITUARY
DR. ALAN HOPKINS. The community was shocked this morning to learn of the death o iAhm Hopkins, Surgeon Superintendent of Westland Hospital, which took place at Westland Hospital this morning about 6,30 o’clock after a brie illness, from heart failure. The deceased was only ill a few days r hut it was known that his condition ytsterdav was causing anxiety. Deceased was a native ot 1 North Island and would have been 33 rears of age this month He leaves a widow, who has been absent m the North Island on a holiday visit, a one child. They "ill have the deepe. sympathy of the community in the sudden bereavement.
