At the adjourned annual meeting of the delegates of the Canterbury Rugby Union to-night, die instruction ol the English Rugby Union that all tlie dispensations granted to New Zealand be withdrawn was considered. It was resolved that New. Zealand protest against this instruction, and make representations to the English Union to have the 'dispensations restored. It was also decided to request the. Now Zealand Union to seek the co-open: tion of the New South Wales Union in the matter.
