FIRE BRIGADES
ANNUAL CONFERENCE. (By Teleyruph—Per Press Association) WAIPUKURAU, April 7. The nineteenth annual conference of the United District Eire Brigade Association was held Imre last evening, Superintendent J. A. ( hnmbers. President of Wnipukurau pn siding. The election of officers resulted: President—Superintendent R. A. Anderson (Marton). Vice Presidents— Foreman A. S. Annand (Waipukurau), Superintendent H. Matson (Carterton), Foreman H. W. Hartley (Taibape), Deputy Supt. W. Minett (Mastorton). Treasurer-—Deputy Supt. H. .), Price (Hastings). Secretary—Supt. R. Henderson (Hastings). Auditor- J. A. Donovan (Hastings).
