The plot deals with the efforts of two men, one a rancher, the other a geologist, to win the hand of a pretty school teacher. The situation is complicated by a secret oil discovery, and there is action aplenty up to and including the fina fade out. Around himself Hoot has assembled a supporting cast of an unusually high and capable order. Playing, the part of leading lady is charming Sally Filers, one of the most promising of the younger actresses of the screen. The notable cast also includes Wheeler Oakman, young Bobby Nelson, Frank Clark and Leo White. Reave.i,. Eason, who directed, also wrote the story of “Rending Ranch”. Qibson has'a perfect role in “Roaring Ranch,” he plays'the part of a young rancher, who, guiltless and unsuspecting himself, becomes a perfect tornado of fury when he finds out what his enemies are trying to put over on him. There, isn’t/ a split second of dullness in “Roaring Ranch”. Those who like their pictures fast, know that Hoot can always be counted on to deliver the speed and thrills.
