The reading to-day at 9 a.m. was 30.24--tailing. The reading on the dial printed below was taken at noon to-day.
HIGII WATER— MARCH. March .‘30.—7.0 a.m. ; 7.40 p.m. March 31.—8.10 a.m.; 8.40 p.m. UNION COMPANY’S LINE. The Karepo is loading timber at Greymoutli for Melbourne and Adelaide, sailing towards the end of the week. The Poolta is due at Greymoutli about the Otb April to load timber ter Sydney. The Kaimai is due at Greymoutli to-day from Dunedin via ports and after discharging inward cargo, loads coal for Wellington. The Kini leaves Wanganui to-day and is due at Greymoutli on Wednesday to load coal for Gisborne, completing at Westport.
