Canadian hoys, for the second time in succession, won the King’s trophy, fired under the auspices of the National Rifle Association, with a record score of 86.96. South Africa was second with 83.40, Britain third with 68.53, and New Zealand and Australia next with 63.16. India and Rhodesia did not qualify. The senior .Imperial Challenge Shield was won hv the Abergavenny Company of the First Monmouthshire Regiment with an average score of 98.13.
