The Liberal Party at its meeting, adopted by 37 votes to 17, a declaration of policy stressing the Party’s independence. Sir A. Sinclair (the Whip) withdrew his resignation. .Mr Lloyd George will present the Party's declaration at the Liberal candidates' meeting on March 2fith. LONDON, March 24. In the House of Commons, the Conservatives to-night tabled a censure motion, declaring that the. Government, owing to its failure to carry out its election pledges, regarding unemployment, it having ceased even to attempt remedial measures, docs not deserve the confidence of the House. The debate will take place next week.
