LABOUR’S STONEWALL. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) WELLINGTON. March 25. Labour’s stonewall on the committee stage of the Finance Bill snowed no signs of slackening when the House adjourned at 1 p.lll. A division was taken at 11 a. lll. and resulted in the defeat of Mr McKeen’s amendment by 41 to 20. whereupon,Mr Chapman moved to include in the short term the words “industrial conciliation and arbitration amendment.” The debate on this amendment is proceeding.
