MINERS’ DEFENCE FORCE. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY. March 23. The Labour Daily reports:-—Miners in' the Newcastle district endorsed the creation of a miners’ defence force. There are five thousand unemployed including many returned soldiers, who according to the miners’ vice-Presi-dent, Hellock, will make their presence felt when the crucial moment arrives. People behind the meeting in the Riveriua and Northern areas are organising for a military dictatorship and the industrial movement accepts the challenge.
