Tt was reported at to-day’s meeting of- the Education Board that eightythree qualified teachers were unemployed. AUCKLAND, March 18. Provision in the Unemployment Act for the relief for unemployed teachers was suggested at: the meeting of the Auckland Education Board by the Chairman (Mr A. Burns), who said the idle teachers would this year get little work, or at most only temporarily. Tin* Board was trying to give all a turn.
