LIBERAL PACT
WITH LABOUR, PARTY. (United Press Association- liy luectin Telegraph—Copyrgilt, j LONDON, March 18. Thirty-five members of Parliament attended a Liberal meeting in the House of Commons, after Air Lloyd George had issued a statement on the situation. Tin* meeting decided to defer a decision till next Tuesday. It is understood that, meanwhile, an effort will be made to secure an arrangement, whereby the Liberals will undertake to support ‘the Government for a definite term ip carrying out a definite policy which shall include unemployment s" hemes. Air Lloyd George’s scheme of operation is not available, but it is understood that a definite pact with the Labour Party is involved. Meanwhile the Whip, !Sir A. Sinclair’s resignation was not accepted.
