JUMPED OVER CLIFF
YOJNG COUPLES' SUICIDE. (Jii/ Telegraph—Per Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Alar.h IG. The inquest on the bodies o! Claude Hargood Rmiiuiy, 23, and Aluriel McDonald, Hi, which were found in the sea at Scarborough, was resumed today, the Coroner being Air Aloslo.y. A letter found in Roundy’s wallet was handed in. It gave an inuicMtion tuat the pair intended Lo commit suicide, and asked his mother’s forgiveness. The Coroner said : I cannot conic to any other conclusion from the evidence and letter submitted, but that the two entered into a suicide pact, and in furtherance of tlniL agreement., jumped over the elill’s. A verdict was returned accordingly.
