A meeting of the Executive of the Earthquake Relief Fund Committee will be held at the Town Hall to-night at 8 o’clock. The popular price fixed for the community sing song on Thursday night at the Princess Theatre should alone secure a bumper attendance. However there will be a programme of outstanding merit, and value full of overflowing be given to patrons. Doors will open at 7.30 o’clock and the concert begins at 8 o’clock. A final reminder is given of the concert and dance in aid of the Earthquake Fund in the Kanieri Public Hall to-night. The concert programme is being supplied by the Kokatahi Lilies, a talented combination of artists. The entertainment is in aid of a worthy purpose and should be well attended. Picture patrons have a specially good programme provided for their delectation at the Princess Theatre at present. Last night the building was crowded to witness the merry “Sunny Side I’n.” it was preceded by three sections of an engrossing Gazette dealing with many interesting events, and particularly the loss of RIHI, Bobby •Jones in action at golf, and Aliss Helen Wills at tennis were likewise special features. Several English episodes were shown, and also a military display by the U.S. Army. The star picture proved a happy delight, and a very satisfied audience enjoyed the whole programme, which will be repeated for the last time to-nght. There will not be /any pictures on AA'cdinesdav or Thursday, hut the displays will he resumed on Friday night with a bumper programme. A number of special pictures are now being released weekly at the Princess Theatre.
