A PROFESSOR'S CLAIM. United Press Association—By Electrii Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received thK dnv at 1.30 p.m.) BERLIN, March 15. Telling character, age. and profession from the bottom lip. is the discovery of Professor Bottmam, dermatologist at Heidleberg University. He claims by the aid of a speeal type of microcope he has invented a new science, and that he can read, with extraordinary exactitude, the secrets of capillaries in the lips. Bottmari declares research discloses that- any change in facial expression affects the bottom lip. in which all the inherited acquired, qnalificat’.ons are concentrated. A bored expression is accompanied by empty, insignificant capillaries, whereas in the lips of orators, actors and vocalists they are rich in form. He proposes to apply the method to lunatic asylums and hospitals for hereditary research, particularly in twins. He will also despatch expeditions to examine primitive races.
