It was decided to ask the bead offices to re-open offices in Napier to attend to clients business. BANKERS REQUEST. WELLINGTON. Alnrch 13. A request for legislation to prohibit work in bakeries between 9 p.m and 4 a.in., was made by a deputation of New Zealand Federated Bakers and Pastry Cooks and Related Trades Employees Association to-day, to Hon. Smith. A reply was given that no legislation could be passed this session, but he would give the deputation requests sympathetic consideration.
