WOOL SOARS
AT BRISBANE SALES. (Australian Press Association.) BRISBANE. March 12. At to-day's wool sales. 11,075 bales were offered. There were excellent clearances. The competition wa s particularly keen. The values for stylish wools were ten per cent, higher than at the earlier sections. The top prices were: Greasy 17fjd; scoured 25d. The Japanese buyers competed wildly for the course wools, which showed nearly one per cent, of an increase on the January rates.
