March 11. 1 The billowing prisoners were sentenced to-day by Judge MaeGngor:—Jack Hands, two charges of breaking and entering at night, two years’ Borstal detention: Alfred Arthur -dapley. similarly charged, two years' Borstal detention, each to lie concurrent; Thomas Hamilton. two charges ol breaking and entering by day. and theft. two years’ imprisiioinent on each charge to he concurrent; Arthur Ern est Johns, breaking, entering and thef 1 two years’ reformative detention : Jack Ronald Bird, breaking, entering and theft, two years’ Borstal detention ; Walter Clyde Sutherland, bigamy, six months’ imprisonment; Zoe McCutcheon Palial. bigamy, ordered to come up for sentence within two years it called upon, and ordered to pay the cost of the prosecution 61/11/-; Hawt'a To liana, lurgery and uttering ordered to come up for sentence within two years if called upon, and to pay the costs ol t.hc prosecution, 61/41/-; George Edgar Pengelly. breaking, entering, and theft. two years’ hard labour; Gunnar Paulsen, breaking, entering and theft, ordered to conic up for sentence within two years if called upon, and to pay the costs of the prosecution. £l/11/-; also to make restitution of £l9/12/7 within two years; George Arniitage. breaking and entering by day and tlieli. two years’ imprisonment.
