TASMAN YACHT RACE

TO START ON SATURDAY. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, March IE A race across the Tasman Sea irom Auckland to Sydney was definitely wiranged to-night between tile. Mel-bourne-owned yacht, "Oinnua, and the Norwegian yacht “Teddy,” The third competitor, the Auckland kcoler, “Hiingi,” was not officially ■sanctioned by the Royal Yacht Squadron, but it is likely that she will sail with ’ the other boats unofficially. The race will start on Saturday afternoon. The Oimara has a 20 horse power engine, but, under thc conditions of th<T race, fuel for only seventy hours will be carried. The fact that Mr Tam In has no engine on the Teddy will be taken into consideration by the handicappers in Melbourne.
