Excitement prevailed in " political circles when the existence ol Mr Baldwin’s decision became known. The Labourites are of the opinion that Air Baldwin has capitulated to the extremists of his own Party, and they notv regard the whole situation in connection with India as having been changed. it is declared that India will be thrown hack on party politics.
