Apology was made for the absence of Messrs Butler, Richards and McIntosh. The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed, and tile outward correspondence was approved. Dr Teieiielmami reported regarding a proposed issue of the Christchurch Peons on the 26tii inst. devoted to the products of the Coast districts, and suggested co-operation to advertise the district. Goss, Christchurch, resigning position a.s League representative on the present hotly. Deceived with regret. A vote of thanks be passed lor past services. Mr Climoe to be asked to suggest a representative. From Canterbury League forwarding copies of proceedings ot monthly meetings. Received. From C. Fisher, Otago Central, regarding settlement of South Westland lands. Received with thanks. GENERAL, The Secretary’s salary wiifi passed for payment. ft was decided to make the annual appeal to the local bodies for funds. The meeting rose at 8.30 p.m.
