NAVAL AGREEMENT

It is understood that the position regarding the naval negotiations is that France and Britain are in agreement concerning the proposed figines for the French and Italian Navies. Italy's endorsement of their agreement would permit France and Italy to adhere to the London Treaty, hut Italy s non-acceptance would rendei the Palis negotiations fruitless. Ihe exost nature of the Franco-Britain settlement is being kept a secret out of courtesy to the Italian Government.
