February 23. , Replying to a Parliamentary question regarding the Red Sea Slave Trade the Foreign Under Secretary of Affairs, Mr Dalton, said that a considerable measure of co-operation had been established between British. French and Italian Governments. In addition to a British patrol, both French and Italian warships are regularly stationed in the Red Sea. British officials in the neighbouring territory periodically meet their French and Italian colleagues to exchange information. . Officers on British sloops also, kept in touch with local authorities.
