MOTORIST’S TRIAL. (Bn Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 13. The iury at the retrial of Alfred Edward Storey in the Supreme Court found accused; guilty to negligent driving, but not to the extent of causing the death of Air and Mrs Cook. Leave was reserved to argue the meaning of the verdict. The Crown Prosecutor intimated that under the circumstances lie could not contend the verdict was one of guilty. Mr Justice AlacGregor made the verdict “not guilty.”
