INVALID TRAFFIC LICENSES. CHRISTCHURCH, February 10. “In the past the Court has treated this man with the utmost leniency, but his Iran,snctionK with the local authority have been unsatisfactory in the extreme. 1 don’t know whether or not he has been trying to beat the authority for their just revenue, but I think that is the position.” Mr E. I> Mosley, S.M , expressed this opinion in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. when Leonard Hadfiold, a contractor, was charged with operating three unlicensed motor-lorries and employing the services of an unlicensed driver.
On each of two charges of using unlicensed vehicles, Hadfiold was fined £2O and costs, and on the other -HO and costs. On the* charge of employing an unlicensed driver he was fined 10s and costs
Mr R. J.
