MORE TO STOP. I (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, February 10, An extraordinary meeting of The shareholders of Associated Newspapers Limited, in Sydney, to-day approved of the reorganisation of the Company hv which the “Daily Guardian” and the “Daily Pictorial,’ both morning dailies, are to disappear, and a new paper, to be known at the “Daily Telegraph” is being established as a broadsheet, similar to the former “Daily Telegraph,” which will combine the main features of the two newspapers, which are being suspended. The “Sunday .Pictorial” is also to disappear, and it will be merged into the “Sunday Guardian.” The latter is to be under the control of the “Daily Telegraph” staff. No decision lias been readied concerning the future of the “Evening News,” which really will remain in obevance.
