EVERYBRDYS PICTURES. “SWEETIE.” A famous comedy team —that of 'William Austin, an actor of British comedy parts, and George Marion, jr., the man who writes the characterisations, is reunited for another dialogue production—Paramount’s super-pep picture, “Sweetie”, which is coming to the Princess Theatre to-night (Tuesday). Austin plays the part of Percy (Bossy) Willow, professor of English in th b Pelham school for hoys, locale of the plot for this s'mg-a.'Ki-dance-and-dialogue extravaganza. The success of William Austin n his roles with Marion’s English comic titles was partly responsible lor his signing of a long term contract as. a Baramount featured player two yeais ago. He has had lengthy experience in sim- • ilar parts on the legitimate stage. Nancy Carroll, Paramount’s red. |- headecl cutie, has the title role in “Sweetie.” She plays the choius girl who inherits a boys’ school. Jack Oakie, the wise-cracking Elmer Kane ol “East Company” fame, and Helen Kane, the big-eyed" ■ babe with the infant voice, J are featured with Miss Carroll. |4 : Frank Tuttle directed the picture.
