SIRS BRUCE. COMPLETES WORLD TRIP. [United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] NEW YORK, February o. Hon. Mrs Victor Bruce (British airwoman) landed at New York to-day from Baltimore, completing the final American lap of her aeroplanesteamship trip around the world. U.S. ATTITUDE. this day at 8 a.m.) NEW YORK, February 6. Mr Stimson in an address ostensibly answering that British diplomacy was more successful than American in situations arising from the seven Latin American revolutions of the past two years, said "The general foreign policy of United States during the past century towards Republic of Latin America has been characterised by a regard for their rights as independent- nations, which when compared with the current international morality in other hemispheres, has been us unusual as it has been praiseworthy.”
He outlined the limitations put by United .States on the recognition of revolutionary governments since 1923 and said this caused many cases of even successful revolutionaries to resign. due to the inability to borrow funds. Thus the action was deterrent in other eases where revolutions wore pin lined. He blamed the recent overthrows to the widespread economic depression, with the consequent unemployment instability and unrest.
