LADY HOUSTON’S OFFER. HER SARCASTIC LETT ER. Bulled Press Association.—Electru Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, February 4. Lady Houston sent a letter to Hon. .Montagu: “Poor Mister Alontagu, it must be a bitter pill for you to swallow after doing everything to dish our airmen to prevent them taking part in the Schneider Cup race, to find you are now dished yourself by a woman’s patriotism. Not understanding the psychology of the Socialist Minister J imagine I might receive vour congratulations and at least thought you would attempt to behave as a gentleman.” Sir P. Sassoon in a speech at Folkstone said I did not think even Mr Montagu would have met Lady Houston’s generous offer with such a contemptible display of prejudice and bad temper.
