SPEED TRIAL
MALCOLM CAMPBELL. OFFICIAL TRIAL TO-MORROW. (United Press Association. — By Electrw Telegraph.—Copyright.] (Received 11.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, February 3. A report from Daytona states Poor visibility and strong wind to-day prevented Campbell from attempting the second trial. He contended himself with exhibition runs. One exhibition clocked 194 miles per hour, but Campbell said lie attained two hundred and sixty. Just before,,lie entered the course at that point, he said the car slipped out of gear and he was forced to coast over the measured md-' in neutral. He plans the official attempt to-morrow.
