The United .Stales Government have apologised to tu-ilnv to Mussolini lor a recent speech by Major-General Sim’dley Butler, of the Marine Corps. Secretary Adams has ordered a general court martial lor Butler.
Speaking before 11 it* Contemporary Club at Philadelphia recently. Butler made remarks criticising Mussolini, saving, anmiii! other things, that a
friend had told him Mussolini’s automobile ran over a child and the Promier did not stop the car. 'Die Premier immediately sent a denial to t.he Italian Embassy at Washington, a"d the Ambassador protested to the State Department.
