BRITISH CABINET DECISION. LONDON, 'January 28. Well-informed circles are inclined to view the Government as likely to reverse its Schneider Cup decision, and to officially support the contest. It is understood that Cabinet have reviewed the position in the light a growing public sentiment in favour of participation, and al9o of the fact that the Government is not to be committed to expense i.n the matter. The “Morning Post’s” political correspondent states: —Cabinet lias decided to permit- Royal Air Force pilots and machines to be used for the Schneider Cup race. The aeronautical correspondent of the “Post” confirms this, and says that Cabinet has also considered the construction of a ney seaplane engine, together with a modification of the existing machines, in older to increase the,speed. -
