CARTERTON, January 24. This morning an employee of the Wairarapa Joinery and Cabinet Co., Ltd., Arthur Steffert, met with a .painful injury. Mr Steffert was using a small circular saw, and by some means his right hand came in contact with it, with the result that the third finger of his hand was severed, and the second so severely damaged that it may be found necessary to have it amputated.
