CRICKETING DISPUTE ARRANGED
BRISBANE, January 28
The Executive of the Queensland Cricket Association met to discuss the case of Thompson and Biggs, who were culled on to show cause why they should not be suspended for having disobeyed the orders of the Executive during the- southern tour. Subsequently the Chairman and Thompson agreed upon a basis of settlement. which provided that the suspensions imposed on Gough, Boosted. Thurlow, Goodwin and Amos be removed, and a round table conference between the players and executive be held.
