BUENOS AIRES, January 25
The Argentine Government are endeavouring to lower ilie cost of living, ami have ri tlnccd the price of broad from (he equivalent of three and a half cents, to two cents, per pound m tho public markets. It is announced that the Government Bureau will sell 250.000 pounds of bread daily. and make the reduction available to more of file people. The Government are also advocating a plan to sell a ll meat, through the Government Bureau, allowing the retail 'butchers a profit ol only one cent, ‘per pound.
