greater every week. Don Anton.ii) Maura,- the .Conservative leader who; has been Premier five times, declares King Alfonso is even more treacherous than his grandfather Ferdinand VI. The gaols arc full of rebels, while the elements and causes of Uhe. rebellion remain outside.
Non-political leaders are of the opinion and declare that' the traditional Spanish State* is in the last stages of decomposition, and that the Monarchy is an association of parasites on the nation.
