WOMAN MURDERED
A JACK THE RIPPER CRIME. [United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Oopyright.J (Received this day at 10 a.m.) LONDON. January 23. A “Jack the Ripper” type of murder was discovered iu London to-dav, The victim was an unidentified woman of about thirty, who was found in Blaekheatli area, used as a football ground. 'fhe body was unclothed and bore many stabbing wonts.ls. The body was mutilated as the “Ripper” mutilated and a deep red mark around the neck suggested strangling. "While part of the body appeared to have been slashed with a razor, the head was bashed i n. The woman's left hand tightly clenched a shoe. The other shoe was found fifteen yards away. The police believed the body was carried to Blackeath in a motor car.
