COST TOO GREAT. (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY. January 23. The “Sun” newspaper is publishing the views of prominent citizens in all parts of Australia, who opine that the Federal capital should he abolished without delay. Doctor Maloney. M.P.. is Canberra's latest opponent. He declares that Canberra is doomed. He says it will drain the Commonwealth for another half century, and that at least eighty per cent, of the Federal Parliamentarians, if given the chance, would vote for its ahold ion.
